In Class 1, the quarterfinal matchup between Penney (7-4) and Milan (10-1) will kick off the weekend at 7 o’clock on Friday night, with the game being broadcast on KTTN FM 92.3 and KGOZ FM 101.7. Pregame coverage will begin at 6:30. In other fixtures, the 10-1 North Platte Panthers will host the 8-3 Windsor team on Friday night at 7 o’clock. Additionally, Crystal City will face St. Vincent at 7 PM on Friday, while the matchup between Portageville and Marionville is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1.
In Class 2, all four quarterfinal matchups are set for Saturday afternoon with 1 o’clock kickoffs. Lift for Life will face Valle Catholic, unbeaten Higginsville (12-0) will play at 10-1 Lamar, and undefeated East Buchanan will take on Bowling Green in a battle of unbeaten teams. At 2 o’clock on Saturday, unbeaten Tolton Catholic will host 11-0 Fair Grove.
In Class 3, two Friday night games are scheduled for 7 o’clock, featuring Seneca at Ava and Blair Oaks at Westminster Christian Academy. On Saturday afternoon, 1 o’clock kickoffs include St. Francis Borgia at Park Hills Central, and St. Pius X, following a win at Maryville, playing at 9-2 Odessa.
In Class 4, the matchups are split between Friday and Saturday. On Friday night at 7, Hannibal will face Lutheran North, and Pacific will play against Hillsboro. On Saturday afternoon at 1, Kearney will travel to Nevada, and McDonald County will compete against Jefferson City.
Class 5 matchups will include Grain Valley at Webb City at 7 o’clock on Friday night, with other matchups, on Saturday at 1 o’clock featuring Cardinal Ritter hosting Fort Zumwalt North, Republic at Helias Catholic, and Eureka at Cape Girardeau Central.
In the Class 6 quarterfinals, going Friday night at 7 o’clock are CBC (Christian Brothers College) High School at Jackson, Kansas City Rockhurst at Nixa, and Oak Park at Liberty North. On Saturday afternoon at 1 o’clock, Columbia Rock Bridge plays at De Smet Jesuit.
