The University of Missouri’s basketball programs have learned their conference opponents for the upcoming 2022-2023 seasons, with specific information on dates and times to be announced in the future.
The Tiger women will play 16 games in the Southeastern Conference, with six of those games made up of home-and-way dates with permanent rival Arkansas, in addition to the rotation of Alabama and Kentucky.
Mizzou will have road games at Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas A&M, and South Carolina, with home tests against Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt.
Last season, the Tigers started fast but faded at the finish, going 18-13 overall and 7-9 in the SEC, earning a WNIT berth, where Missouri lost in the opening round to the Drake Bulldogs.
The Missouri men will play in 18 Southeastern Conference games, with home and away contests against Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M, who have been set as Missouri’s “set rivals” for the past few years. For this season, LSU and Mississippi State will both travel to Mizzou Arena and host the Tigers in regular season action.
Missouri will play at Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia, while hosting Alabama, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt, with a visit from John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats as well.
The 2022-2023 season at Mizzou will be the return of archrival Kansas to Columbia for the first time in 11 years, with the Jayhawks scheduled to play the Tigers on December 10th. Another Saturday non-conference game will see Iowa State playing Mizzou in Columbia on January 28th for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.
