Saturday’s football game at Bearcat Stadium in Maryville will feature Northwest Missouri State University’s “Celebrate Agriculture Day”. The Bearcats will host nearby rival Missouri Western at 1:30, with the Bearcat football team wearing custom helmet decals in support of agriculture in the midwest.
Incorporated into Saturday’s decal will be the initials MAS (for Midwest Agriculture Strong). Agricultural equipment will be on display around the perimeter of Bearcat Stadium throughout Saturday’s events on the NWMSU campus. Equipment will also be located at the Hy-Vee Bearcat Zone and other areas of the stadium.
Northwest Missouri State, a perennial power in Division Two football, enters the game unbeaten, leading the MIAA, and ranked #1 in the country in the latest AFCA poll.
