The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, and men’s basketball coach Ben McCollum, have announced the addition of Atlantic (Iowa) High School graduate Ryan Hawkins to the 2016-2017 roster.
Hawkins put up huge numbers for Atlantic, including scoring a school-record 45 points in a game in his senior season, when he averaged 22.2 points and 13.4 rebounds per game. He was named first-team all-Iowa. He added 89 steals and 43 blocks during his senior season.
Hawkins left Wayne State College in Nebraska after that school fired their head coach.
