Newtown/Grundy boys, Gallatin girls claim Section 2 track titles

Paris High School hosted the Class 1, Section 2 track and field meet on Saturday afternoon, with the Newtown-Harris (with Grundy) Tigers racking up 80 points to win the boys team title, while the Gallatin Lady Bulldogs, with 58 points, sharing the team title with the host Paris Lady Coyotes.

Top four individual finishers advance to the Class 1 state meet in Jefferson City.
