The North Central Missouri College Lady Pirates improved to 11-5 on Monday night with a 97-27 win against the Missouri Valley junior varsity, in a women’s game played in Marshall.
Asia Young led a balanced NCMC attack with 20 points, with Sarah Lamp adding 14, Kelly Warford 14 points and 10 rebounds, Madison Gonseth 14 points, and Kendey Eaton 13 points.
The Lady Pirates and Pirates open NJCAA Division 2, Region 16 play on Wednesday night, hosting the Wentworth Military Academy Red Dragons in a 5:30 (women) and 7:30 (men) tip at the Ketcham Community Center.
