Eight softball teams will converge on the Ebbe Sports Complex in Trenton on Saturday, for the annual Nan Carter Tournament, run by the North Central Missouri College program, with all money from the event joining to support Lady Pirate softball.
Both fields will be utilized in the day-long event, with action starting at Griffin Field and Johnson Field at 9 o’clock in the morning. Seventh place and fifth place games will both start at 6 PM, with the 3rd place and championship games at 7:30 on Saturday night. Trenton will be joined by Gallatin, Brookfield, Putnam County, South Harrison, Marceline, Milan, and Platte Valley in the event.

Princeton, Worth County, North Harrison, and Lawson will make up the North Harrison Tournament on Saturday, with six games planned in a round-robin format. Princeton opens the day with a matchup with Worth County at 9 o’clock in the morning, followed by North Harrison hosting Worth County at 10:45. At 12:30, Princeton returns to the field in Eagleville to battle Lawson. The rest of the afternoon will see Princeton play North Harrison in a potential district preview at 2:15, Lawson taking on Worth County at 4, with Lawson and North Harrison playing one another at 5:45.
