Grain Valley High School (Grain Valley, MO) senior Jake Salisbury has become the second in-state basketball player to sign a letter of intent with Coach Jeremy Esry and the North Central Missouri College Pirates.  Salisbury recently signed with NCMC, joining Putnam County’s (Unionville, MO) Calvin Heidenwith in the Class of 2017.

In his senior season at Grain Valley, the 6’6″ Salisbury averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game.  He is the two-time First Team all-district selection, and a two-time First-Team All-MRVC (Missouri River Valley Conference) Western Division selection.

Coach Esry, commenting on Salisbury’s signing, said “Jake is a very strong and athletic forward who also has great touch and footwork around the rim.  He is a winner and not afraid of hard work, which is something that really drew our attention”.
