The North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team played one of their most complete games of the young season, using depth and talent to dismantle the Lady Spartans of Southwestern (Iowa) Community College, 76-42 on Wednesday night at the Ketcham Community Center in Trenton.
Freshman forward Whitley Richman (Trenton, MO) continues to shine in her “sixth man” role for Coach Jenni Croy, scoring 17 points in the win, a number matched by sophomore guard Kendey Eaton (Mound City, MO). Richman’s roommate, freshman forward Hailey Burrows (Gilman City, MO) continued to show growing confidence in her game, adding 12 points, including a pair of first half three-pointers. Samm Jett and Sarah Lamp contributed to the North Central balance, with nine points each.
Head Coach Jenni Croy was pleased with her team’s overall performance:
Wednesday night’s game was broadcast on Hot Country Z 101.7 and U-Click TV, as will the Lady Pirates next contest, on Wednesday, December 6th at Kansas City Kansas Community College at 5:30.
