The North Central Missouri College men’s golf team spent its Monday afternoon in Jacksonville, Illinois, competing in the McNaughton Invitational hosted by Illinois College, at the Jacksonville Country Club.
The Pirates group of 5 finished 9th in the 12 team field, with a score of 335, 34 strokes behind the winning score of 301 shot by Lewis and Clark (IL) Community College.
For the first time this season, all five North Central golfers broke 90, led by freshman Jamie Connelly, who finished at 79 for a 24th place tie. Other Pirate scores were 84 from Cade Mullenix, 86’s from Charlie Hoffman and Seth Gladbach, and an 89 turned in by Easton Klaver.
The next event for NCMC golf will be on Wednesday, April 19th, hosting Graceland and Missouri Valley at the Green Hills Course in Chillicothe.
