Fresh off of the program’s first-ever appearance in the NJCAA Division Two National Tournament, the North Central Missouri College Pirates have announced their first commitment for the basketball program’s Class of 2020.
Five-foot, 11-inch guard Damien Loyd of Kirkwood High School is the first to sign with Coach Jeremy Esry, after averaging 20.7 points and 3.4 assists per game as a senior, earning All-State Class 5 first-team status.
Coach Esry, commenting on Loyd, said, “We are excited to sign Damien for next year! He brings a nice quickness and scoring aspect to our guard positions which is something that we identified as one of our main priorities to address for next season!”
