Missouri head coach Eliah Drinkwitz has doubled the Tigers’ recruiting Class of 2021 in recent days, with Jackson (MO) High School offensive tackle Connor Tollison and East St. Louis (IL) quarterback Tyler Macon giving verbal commitments to Mizzou.
Tollison is ranked a three-star lineman by 247Sports.com, placing him as the #60 offensive tackle nationally for 2021 and the #10 overall prospect in the state of Missouri. He chose the in-state Tigers offer scholarship offers from Alabama, Illinois, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
At the time of Tollison’s announcement, he became the third MU commit for 2021, joining DeSmet (MO) High School defensive lineman Mekhi Wingo and Memphis (TN) tight end Gavin McKay.
Macon, a dual-threat quarterback, gave his commitment to Mizzou via a social media account, become the fourth in the recruiting class. Last season, he had 4,241 passing yards and 39 touchdowns, adding 18 touchdowns and 827 yards on the ground, leading the Flyers to an Illinois state championship and a 14-0 record.
Rated a three-star prospect, Macon is rated by 247Sports as the #21 overall player in the state of Missouri in the Class of 2021, and the 19th best dual-threat quarterback in the class.
