Nicholas DeLoach Jr., a senior at Cahokia High School in Illinois, has verbally committed to the University of Missouri’s football program, following a weekend visit to the campus in Columbia.
DeLoach is an “under-the-radar” recruit for the Tigers, choosing Mizzou over offers from Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Northern Iowa. He is a sprinter on the Cahokia track and field team, winning the Illinois Class 2 triple jump in his junior year, while finishing second in the long jump.
Coach Drinkwitz and the Missouri staff are recruiting DeLoach, who shows talent on both sides of the line of scrimmage, as a defensive back. He is the sixth commitment in the Class of 2023 for the Missouri Tigers.
