University of Missouri graduate Jeremiah Tilmon has been waived by the NBA’s Orlando Magic, a move that was expected after the East St. Louis product played in only one game in the NBA’s Summer League.
Tilmon had signed a deal with Orlando on Thursday, October 7th, only to be waived five days later. Tilmon is now expected to be retained by the Magic who will send him to the franchise’s G League affiliate, the Lakeland (FL) Magic.
Tilmon started 97 games over four years at MU, averaging 10 points and 5 1/2 rebounds per contest.
