Missouri offensive guard EJ Ndoma-Ogar revealed on social media this Monday that he has entered the transfer portal. The former Oklahoma transfer has had a limited role since joining Columbia in 2021, participating in only four games this season. Ndoma-Ogar becomes the second offensive lineman to enter the portal, following Valen Erickson’s decision on November 13.
In 2023, MU’s offensive line has experienced a resurgence, attributed in part to the arrivals of coach Brandon Jones and Cam’Ron Johnson from Houston. Johnson has secured the right guard position, a spot where Ndoma-Ogar occasionally played in the latter stages of games.
Ndoma-Ogar’s decision to enter the transfer portal coincides with Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College offensive lineman Jayven Richardson committing just days earlier on Thursday. Richardson joins the 2024 class alongside high school recruits Ryan Jostes and Talan Chandler, bolstering the offensive line for the future.
