Missouri football signee Luther Burden (East St. Louis, IL) scored a 65 yard touchdown reception on the first play of scrimmage on Sunday for Team Icons, in a 23-17 win over Team Legends, in the Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando, Florida.
Burden, considered the top wide receiver in the U.S. in the Class of 2022, caught a pass from Florida State signee, quarterback A.J. Duffy, weaving through defenders on his way to the end zone.
Another member of Mizzou’s highly-acclaimed recruiting class made the field, as four-star defensive lineman (St. Charles, MO) Marquis Gracial had a sack for Team Legends.
With the five-star Burden considered to be the top recruit for Missouri’s incoming freshman class, the Tigers have routinely been praised by services like Rivals and 247Sports for having the fourth-best class in the SEC, behind only Alabama, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
