High school football senior Rod Orr of Gadsden, Alabama has named the University of Missouri as one of his five finalists hoping to get a verbal commitment from the 296-pounder for the Class of 2021. Orr, ranked by 247Sports as the #28 offensive tackle in the country and #13 overall prospect out of the state of Alabama, included two other SEC schools in his Top 5, in the Ole Miss Rebels and Tennessee Volunteers. The Florida Stat Seminoles and Oregon Ducks are the other programs on the list.
Orr eliminated Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, and Memphis from consideration. Orr attends Gadsden City High School.
