Missouri football secured its first special teams member for the Class of 2024 with punter Will Safris from Johnston, Iowa. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect announced his decision on Twitter, choosing Mizzou over Memphis. Safris attended Kohl’s Professional Camp, known for producing college kickers, and was previously attended by Mizzou kicker Harrison Mevis.
Safris becomes the 12th commit for Mizzou’s Class of 2024, with nine pledges since June 30. Special teams coach Erik Link, also from Des Moines, Iowa, has played a role in recruiting Safris, and the Tigers offered him a scholarship on June 28.
Currently, Rivals ranks Mizzou’s 2024 recruiting class at No. 56 in the nation, which places them last among Southeastern Conference teams.
