Two more guards from Midwestern based universities have entered the NCAA transfer portal, with both David DeJulius of the University of Michigan and Justin Turner of Bowling Green indicating that the University of Missouri has the potential to be a future home for each.
DeJulius spent just one season in Ann Arbor for the Michigan Wolverines. College basketball insider Jake Weingarten is reporting that DeJulius “has heard” from five programs since his decision to transfer, with Missouri joined by Rhode Island, Maryland, Marquette, and Cincinnati. In the 2019-2020 season at Michigan, DeJulius averaged seven points per game, appearing in 31 contests, starting in one.
More established as a scorer at the Division One level, although at a lower level in the MAC than compared to DeJulius in the Big Ten, Turner, playing for Bowling Green (Ohio) University, will have just one year of eligibility remaining after his transfer. College basketball insider Jeff Goodman has tweeted that Turner, who averaged 18.8 points per game for the Falcons as a junior, has cut his list of schools for a transfer to Missouri, Marquette, and Iowa State. He is a native of Detroit, Michigan.
