The Missouri Tigers and Kansas State Wildcats, long-time border rivals in the Missouri Valley, Big Six, Big Seven, Big Eight, and Big 12 Conferences, have announced a two-game, home-and-home series to renew a rivalry ended by Mizzou’s move to the SEC in 2012.
Dates for the meetings will be September 10, 2022 at Bill Snyder Family Stadium in Manhattan, Kansas, and September 16, 2023 at Faurot Field in Columbia. The trip to KSU will be Missouri’s first since a 24-17 Wildcat victory over the Tigers in 2011.
Missouri leads the all-time series with KSU, 60-32-5, although the Wildcats enjoyed a significant advantage after the arrival of Coach Bill Snyder, resurrecting a moribound program in 1989.
Missouri is still searching for two non-conference opponents to fill its 2022 schedule. The Tigers will play at Middle Tennessee State on September 17, 2022. For 2023, the Tigers have one more non-con date to fill. MTSU will visit Mizzou on September 9, 2023, with Missouri at Memphis in an all-Tiger battle on September 23, 2023.
