The Mizzou men’s basketball team is gearing up for an exciting 2023-24 season with a schedule that features both home and away games against tough opponents. The Tigers are set to face some challenging matchups, including games against power conference opponents and schools from the nation’s top conferences.
The season will kick off on November 6 with a home game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff in Columbia. This will be followed by two more home games against Memphis and SIU Edwardsville. The Tigers will then hit the road for a game against Minnesota on November 16.
The team will return home for a three-game homestand against Jackson State, South Carolina State, and Loyola Maryland from November 19 to November 25. Afterward, they will travel to Pittsburgh for a game on November 28 as part of the ACC/SEC Challenge. The Tigers will wrap up their non-conference home games against Wichita State on December 3.
December will see some intense matchups, including the Hy-Vee Hoops Border Showdown against Kansas on December 9 and a neutral-site game against Seton Hall at T-Mobile Center on December 17. The Tigers will then head to St. Louis for their traditional McBride Homes Braggin’ Rights matchup against Illinois on December 22.
The non-conference portion of the schedule will conclude with a home game against Central Arkansas on December 30. This will set the stage for the Tigers to continue their success from the previous season, where they secured 25 wins, defeated nationally-ranked teams, and made significant strides in various tournaments.
