The first three weeks of the Missouri Tigers upcoming football season now have kick times, with the Tigers hopeful that a September that sees four straight home games at Faurot Field serves as an impetus for a successful 2017 campaign.
For the first time since the 1920s, Missouri will take on the Missouri State Bears, with the renewal of the in-state rivalry taking place on Saturday, September 2nd. The season opener will be carried live on KTTN FM 92.3, with pregame at 9 AM, with the SEC Network televising the contest, kicking off at 11 o’clock.
The Southeastern Conference opener against the South Carolina Gamecocks had been announced as a 6 PM kickoff earlier this summer. ESPN2 will handle the television side of the broadcast. The game will be available on the state-wide Tiger Radio Network and local affiliate KTTN FM 92.3, with a 4 PM pregame on Saturday, September 9th.
The Big 10 Conference’s Purdue Boilermakers travel to Columbia to tangle with Barry Odom’s Tigers on Saturday, September 16th, with a 3 PM kickoff on the SEC Network. KTTN-FM coverage will begin at 1 PM from Memorial Stadium.
All remaining games will have kick time and TV information selected two weeks in advance – with the exception of Friday, November 24th at Arkansas, which has already been picked for CBS and will kick at 1:30 PM at Donald Reynolds Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
