The University of Missouri has announced the addition of Northern Iowa transfer forward Noah Carter and Cleveland State University’s D’Moi Hodge to the Tiger roster for the 2022-2023 season.
Carter has spent the last three seasons at UNI, with a second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference season this past year. He will have two years of eligibility to use at MU. In this past season, he averaged 15 points per game in 32 game appearances, including 21 starts. He was the second-leading scorer on the Panthers behind MVC Player of the Year, A.J. Green.
Carter is a native of Dubuque, Iowa, where he was a four-year letterman for Dubuque Senior High School, earning multiple All-State honors in his prep career.
Hodge earned 2022 Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year honors for coach Dennis Gates at Cleveland State before choosing to follow Gates to MU for his final season of eligibility.,
A native of the British Virgin Islands, Hodge finished a two-year run at CSU in 2021-2022 with a 15.4 points per game average, while ranking 17th nationally with 2.2 steals per game.
Prior to his time in Cleveland, Hodge played at the JUCO level at State College of Florida, where he started 63 games over two seasons, with 22.3 points per game, earning FCSAA All-State and NJCAA All-Region honors in his sophomore season. Hodge played his prep career as Faith Baptist Christian Academy in Ludowici, Georgia.
