The University of Missouri, after losing five players to transfer heading into the 2021-2022 season, have added to the replenishing of the basketball roster with a third incoming transfer, with Ball State’s Jarron “Boogie” Coleman announcing his commitment to Mizzou’s program via Twitter on Saturday afternoon.
Coleman has started 35 games in his freshman and sophomore seasons at Ball State University, averaging 13.8 points per game this season, playing in 13 games after missing the first 10 contests following October foot surgery. His addition to expected to boost the Tigers three-point shooting ability, with Coleman connecting to 42.5 percent of his shots from ‘beyond the arc’ this season.
Coleman joined Kansas State University’s DaJuan Gordon and the University of Green Bay’s Amari Davis as incoming transfers. All three are guards. Mizzou now has two scholarship spots available for the upcoming season.
