The Mizzou volleyball team continues to strengthen its roster with the addition of transfer talent, signing setter Marina Crownover from Texas. Crownover, a redshirt sophomore, was part of the Longhorns squad that secured back-to-back national championships. Although she had limited action in the 2023 season, contributing 13 assists and seven digs in 10 matches, her experience with a successful program adds depth to the Tigers.
Before her time at Texas, Crownover earned all-conference honors at St. Stephen’s Episcopal and was a member of the 2019 USA Volleyball High Performance A1 Team. She joins other transfers, including Regan Haith from Illinois State and Alayna Pearson from Texas A&M, who have joined Mizzou under coach Dawn Sullivan’s leadership.
The additions follow a memorable 2023 campaign for Mizzou, where the Tigers made their 18th NCAA Tournament appearance, marking a significant achievement for the program.
