The University of Missouri football program has added a second cornerback from the transfer portal, with PowerMizzou.com reporting the move of Dreyden Norwood from Texas A&M to Missouri.
Norwood will have four years of eligibility remaining at Mizzou, after playing in only two games for the Aggies in his freshman season for coach Jimbo Fisher.
Since the end of the regular season, Missouri has added four scholarship players via the portal, with Norwood joining safety Joseph Charleston of Clemson, defensive lineman Jayden Jernigan of Oklahoma State, and center Bence Polgar of Buffalo.
Norwood arrived in College Station in 2021 as a four-star recruit (247Sports) and a Rivals three-star from Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Last week, Missouri brought Cody Schraeder of Truman State University on as a preferred walk-on. Schraeder, a St. Louis native, was the leading rusher in all of Division II football in 2021.
The Tigers have lost eight players to transfer since the end of the regular season, including defensive tackle Mehki Wingo, who announced his decision on Thursday of last week.
