The Missouri Tigers are adding linebacker Ty’Ron Hopper as a transfer for the 2022 season, with the addition seen as coming into a critical spot for MU, with linebacker depth seen as a roster weakness heading into the spring.
Hopper was the fourth-leading tackler for the University of Florida Gators in 2021, with 65 spots, including 10 for loss. He added 3 1/2 sacks, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.
Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports was first to report, on Thursday, of Hopper’s decision to move from one SEC East school to another.
