The Missouri men’s basketball team has learned its opponents for the upcoming 2023-24 season in the SEC. After a successful season in 2022-23, where the Tigers had their most victories in 11 years and secured their first NCAA Tournament win in 13 years, Missouri will face a challenging conference schedule.
The Tigers will have five home-and-home series against Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Texas A&M. This means they will play each of these teams once at home and once on the road. In addition, Missouri will host Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Tennessee, while traveling to face Alabama, Kentucky, LSU, and Vanderbilt.
The SEC conference play will begin on January 6 and conclude on March 9. The specific dates, times, and television assignments for the games will be announced at a later date.
Missouri’s strong performance in the previous season has set high expectations for the upcoming year. Finishing fourth in the regular-season standings and making it to the SEC Semifinals for the first time in program history, the Tigers have shown significant progress since joining the SEC in 2012. They will aim to build on their success and continue their upward trajectory in the conference.
