Milan High School will welcome Grand River Conference rivals Princeton and Putnam County to Cal Hubbard Field this Friday, August 21st for a 7 o’clock jamboree to kick off the 2020 football season.
At 7 o’clock, Milan hosts Princeton in the 1st quarter scrimmage, followed by Putnam County taking on Princeton in the middle session, with Milan and Putnam County finishing up the night. Admission will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Seniors ages 65 and older will be admitted free. Those attending Milan’s softball jamboree on Friday afternoon and purchase tickets there for BOTH jamborees, at a cost of $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
Fans are encouraged to social distance as they wait in line at the gates for admittance. Masks are optional, but are being recommended by Milan High School. There will be three large sectioned off bleacher areas for the three schools, with empty spaces between each school’s section. Spectators should not attend if they have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, or if they are currently showing symptoms or have been in close contact with someone confirmed positive of COVID-19 over the past 14 days.
