In one of the first events of the fall sports season, the Milan Lady Wildcats will host Grand River Conference softball rivals Gallatin and Princeton in a pre-season jamboree on Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock.
Admission will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students, with a special deal in place for spectators planning on attending the softball jamboree and the football jamboree at Milan High School later that night, with prices for that option set at $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
Each scrimmage will last four innings, with each inning ending after three outs or five runs are achieved. Each four inning contest will have a time limit of 45 minutes.
Milan will play Gallatin in the first game of the afternoon, followed by Gallatin battling Princeton, and Princeton taking on Milan in Game 3.
Masks are optional for spectators, but are being recommended by officials with Milan High School and the Sullivan County Health Department to avoid spreading the coronavirus.
