The Mercer Cardinals came into the first full week of December off of a doubleheader split at Hamilton a week ago, with the girls winning against the Lady Hornets, while the boys lost to a Penney team playing in the KCI Conference’s championship game this week by 11.
Mercer’s teams both played (at beat) Green City on Tuesday night, with the Cardinals traveling to Princeton to take on the in-county rival Tigers in doubleheader action on Friday night, with the girls game at 6, and boys at 7:30, on KTTN FM 92.3:
