North Central Missouri College’s softball program and Head Coach Steve Richman have announced the signing of Marceline High School senior pitcher Maycee Edgar for the 2019-2020 season.
In her senior season at MHS, Edgar led the Lady Tigers to a 19-4 record, with 99 strikeouts in 103 innings. At the plate, she hit a sparkling .410. Maycee plans to study exercise science at NCMC, and excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Principal’s Honor Roll, and the 2017-18 Academic All-State Softball Team.
Coach Richman is excited about Edgar’s addition to the 2019 recruiting class, stating that “Maycee is a great addition to our softball program. She will bring a wealth of experience on the mound and knows how to win. We will utilize her on the mound as well as other places on the field. She also brings a great bat to the lineup.”
