The Livingston County Fair’s Shooting Sports competition showcased the talent and skill of participants across various divisions. Archery enthusiasts demonstrated their precision and accuracy with their bows, resulting in impressive performances. In the Compound finger division, Decker Rardon claimed the top spot, followed by Tabitha Harris and Avery Ballard. Rayanna Harris emerged victorious in the Compound finger Intermediate division, while Alyssa Harris excelled in the Compound finger Senior division.
In the Compound release division, Auston Carr won the junior category, followed by Carson Williams and Luke O’dell. Cason Roney won the intermediate competition, with second place to Leon Nickell and Colton Carr third. Luke Nickell won the senior division, followed by Abby Jones and Braden Stimpson. Cason Roney continued to shine in the Compound release (scope) Intermediate division, grabbing victory, with Allie Ray winning the junior recurve event.
The Air Rifle (BB) competition saw Luke O’dell, Chole Anderson, and Konner Miller exhibiting their marksmanship in the Junior division. with O’Dell winning, followed by Anderson and Miller.
Moving on to the Small Bore (22) category, participants displayed their precision and control with .22 caliber rifles. Emmett Jefferies, Carson Williams, and Ethan Anderson stood out in the Junior division finishing in the top 3, in that order. In the Intermediate division, Quinten Eskew, Sang Hyun Lee, and Sang Joon Lee demonstrated their shooting abilities with top three finishers. Abby Jones, Jasper Jones, and Alyssa Harris emerged as the top performers in the Senior division.
Yoo Jung Lee excelled in the Muzzleloading category, showcasing her skill with black powder firearms. In the Western Heritage division, Reata McCracken impressed in the Junior division, while Sang Hyun Lee and Quinten Eskew showcased their talents in the Intermediate division.
