The St. Joseph Christian Lions defeated the visiting Trenton Lady Bulldogs on Monday night by a final score of 25-13, 25-17, jumping out on THS in both varsity and JV matches to claim the sweep.
Trenton’s offense, in the varsity match, was boosted by four assists from Ava Simpson, with Evy McCullough adding three blocks and two kills.
In the JV match, Trenton fell 25-14, 25-20. Makenzee Epperson had a four kill match with two aces, with Kaylea Boyle adding three assists, and Lilly Berti a pair of kills.
Trenton will host Savannah on Tuesday night in the Bulldogs final home match of the season, with action starting at 5 o’clock.
