The kicking game for the Missouri Tigers looks to be in solid hands for the next two seasons, with Harrison Mevis returning for his junior season this fall. With Mevis’ expected departure from the program after the 2023 season, a kicker was needed to keep special teams running well.
You can now enter Liberty North High School senior kicker Blake Craig into the Tigers special teams room. Craig spent last weekend participating in the MU special teams camp, with a scholarship offer arriving from Mizzou on Saturday. By Sunday, the offer had been accepted, with Craig joining Coach Eli Drinkwitz’s 2023 recruiting class.
Craig, as a junior, earned all-state and all-district honors, launching successful attempts of 56 and 53 yards in the process. Kohl’s rankings of kickers nationwide places Craig in the #2 position.
