Lawson play-making guard signs with Esry’s Pirates

Men's Basketball

Lawson High School senior Cody Glenn, a 6’0” guard, has signed with the North Central Missouri College men’s basketball program.  A prolific shooter, Glenn made 217 career three point baskets, including a single-season school record 98 in his senior year, helping him win Player of the Year honors from the St. Joseph News-Press.  In his four-year career with the Cardinals, Glenn netted 1,394 points and dished out 373 assists, earning All-Conference and All-District honors three times.  In his senior season, Glenn averaged 22.7 points, 5 assists, and 3.7 rebounds, earning Missouri Basketball Coaches Association All-State honors. Cody was also an All-State quarterback at Lawson High School, leading the Cardinals to the Class 2 state semifinals in November.

NCMC Head Coach Jeremy Esry was excited by Glenn’s signing, exclaiming “We got another winner in Cody Glenn!  When you look at all of his accomplishments, you realize that all the kid knows how to do is win.  When you look below the surface and do your homework on why he is always winning, you see that he is doing it the right way and putting in a lot of time and effort to become the best that he can be.  Cody is the ultimate competitor and someone we really look forward to having in our program and family the next two years.  Basketball wise, Cody can really shoot it and has a quick release.  He is also from a basketball family and has a high IQ for the game.  We are very happy that Cody chose North Central Missouri College and cannot wait to get him to campus this fall”.
