The North Central Missouri College women’s golf team participated in their second event of the fall, racking up a score of 395 at the “War at the Moor” in Creston, Iowa. Southwestern Community College hosted the tournament, with William Penn University’s 363 outdistancing runner-up NCMC by 32 strokes for the team crown.
Seventeen women made up the individual field, with North Central’s Emily Long shooting 85, good for the runner-up spot, five strokes behind the winning total of 80. Taylor Hileman of the Lady Pirates was 7th place with an 18-hole score of 93. Sara Golden shot 99 for a 10th place tie, with Kiersten Howell putting up a score of 118, for 15th place.
Next up for Lady Pirates links on the 2020 fall season is a trip to Lamoni, Iowa this Saturday for the Graceland University Fall Invitational.
