The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club participated in both the Midwest Showdown in St. Joseph and the Maysville Youth Tournament over the weekend, with Kaden Owen winning first place for Trenton in the 12 and under, 135 to 140 pound weight class (at St. Joseph).
Trenton picked up numerous second-place finishes, with Tyler Siemer runner-up in the St. Joseph event (12 and under, 135 to 140 pounds), while Statler Wiebers (6 and under, 45 pounds), Bryar Foster (6 and under, 50 pounds), and Chase Foster (8 and under, 100 pounds) were second at the Maysville Tournament.
Finishing in third place were Sam Gibson (St. Joseph), and Kayden Foster, Sam Wiebers, Brayden Bell, and Brycen Wilson (Maysville), with Hunter McAtee and Isaacs Wilson finishing fourth at the Midwest Showdown, while Micah Clear, Tanner Phipps, and Coleman Griffin were fourth at Maysville.
With fifth place marks for the TKWC were Brayden Hughs in St. Joseph and Spur Hughs and Chase Foster at Maysville.
