The I-35 Speedway recently held its annual Triple H Realty Kaster Celebration, honoring the Kaster family who played a significant role in the track’s history. A total of 120 race cars participated in the event, providing thrilling action for the enthusiastic fans.
In the E-Mod division, Adam Dunwoodie emerged victorious, securing his seventh win of the 2023 season. Shaunie Lanning, a former champion and feature winner, finished second, followed by George Burnett in third place. Aaron Jones and Tony Layne completed the top five.
Mike Miller showed his skill in the Pure Stocks race, briefly taking the lead before Jeffrey Sears claimed the position. However, Miller made a comeback and led the final four laps to earn his first win at I-35 Speedway. Sears settled for second place, while Jon Boller Jr finished third. Anthony Whitham and Matthew Matsukevich had strong performances, securing fourth and fifth place, respectively.
In the Midwest Limited Late Models, Tommy Cordray took home his first feature win of the season. He overtook Houston Johnson to lead the final thirteen laps and secure the victory. Johnson finished second, followed by Jimmy Dowell in third place. JR Rowland and Harold Robb Jr completed the top five.
Stanley Kreisel triumphed in the Poweri Midwest Lightning Sprint race, claiming his first win of the season at I-35 Speedway. Trice Roden finished second, followed by JP Falke, Tyler Johnson, and Kenny Bowers in third, fourth, and fifth places, respectively.
Tyler Cadwallader celebrated his third win of the season in the USRA B-Mod feature. He faced challenges from Chris Wright, who unfortunately retired from the race. Corey Myers finished second, with Lonnie Hibner, Eddie Ingram Jr, and Kyle Henning securing third to fifth places, respectively.
Jeff Dixon, the current points leader in the Medieval USRA Stock Car division, secured his first win of the season. He led all fifteen laps of the race, fending off Derrick Brown, who finished second. Anthony Robertson claimed third place, while Brandon Dixon and Jayden Bears finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Tyler Hibner continued his impressive season, securing his seventh win in the USRA Modifieds. He passed early leader Darren Shaw and maintained his position until the end. Houston Johnson fought his way to second place, with Lee Hibner finishing third. Richard Layne and Steven Glenn completed the top five, while Jory Stotts finished sixth.
Brad Mick continued his winning streak in the Sport Compact division, securing his seventh feature win of the season. Harold Robb Jr finished second, followed by Chris Wright in third place. Jonnathon Hartman and Scott Beagle rounded out the top five.
In the Jr Sport Compact class, Brycen Bouzek emerged victorious, earning his fourth win of the season. Payton Hanes, last week’s feature winner, finished second, followed by Grant Sheetz in third place. Katelynn Fleming and Maddy Barr completed the top five.
