The Grundy County Panthers defeated the Novinger Wildcats on Friday night in Galt, 15-13, improving to 2-5 on the fall baseball season.
Wayne Baxter earned the win with 6 2/3 innings, allowing 13 runs, with seven walks and three strikeouts. Andrew Garcia got the final out for the save.
Blake Foster led the Panther offense with two home runs, four RBI’s, and three hits. Austin Eckert had three hits and five RBI’s, while Carter Searcy had three hits and two RBI’s.
