Trenton’s Riverside Country Club hosted the Grand River Conference junior varsity golf tournament on Tuesday afternoon, with six schools (Gallatin, Trenton, South Harrison, Maysville, Stanberry, Putnam County) represented by a total of 22 golfers on the 9-hole course.
Gallatin High School’s Ally Johnson won medalist honors with a score of 53. Just two strokes back of the winning score was Trenton’s Maci Henson, with a round of 55. Hattie Bradford of Gallatin was third at 57 (tied with Molly Parker of Putnam County), while Sarabeth Michael of Gallatin and Brianna Vice of Putnam County tied for fifth place at 59.
Trenton only had two golfers playing in the JV conference tournament. Oakley Madden show a 65 for the host Lady Bulldogs.
