The Gallatin Lady Bulldogs shot a team score of 401 to outdistance the runner-up tally of 430 from Trenton, in Tuesday’s Gallatin Golf Inviational at the Daviess County Country Club. Maysville was third with a team score of 456, followed by Stanberry (471), and the Gallatin JV (479). Other schools (all GRC) represented in the meet were South Harrison, Worth County, Braymer, Albany, and King City.
The individual medalist was Gallatin’s Kaitlyn Bird, with a score of 92, Olivia Law of King City continued her superb fall season with a round of 97, good for 2nd place. Taylor Rardon of Gallatin shot 97 for third place, with Stanberry’s Allie Gage at 100, for a fourth place finish. Trenton had three golfers finish in the Top 10, as Lana Raymo’s team-best 101 was the fifth best score, Hannah Kennebeck’s 104 for 8th, and Kaitlyn Mounce’s 106 good for ninth place.
Other top scores on the day included Gallatin’s Taylor Sloan at 103 (6th place), South Harrison’s Kylie Gannon at 104 (7th place), and Maysville’s Samm Allwood at 109 (10th place).
