The Gallatin Lady Bulldogs, hosting Trenton, Lawson, and Hamilton on Thursday afternoon, won the four-team golf competition at the Daviess County Country Club, shooting a team score of 226 to outlast Lawson’s 262 and Trenton’s 264. With only three golfers on the course, Hamilton lacked the necessary numbers to post an official team result.
Medalist honors went to Gallatin’s Jessica Hart, with a nine-hole score of 54, followed by teammate Jenni Teel at 55, and Elle Copple at 57. Trenton’s top score was the only other sub-60 round of the day, turned in by Maci Henson at 59. Johnna Tadlock had a superb round for the Gallatin junior varsity, shooting 58.
