The Galt City Park will play host to the Class 1, District 12 softball tournament later this week, with the Gallatin Lady Bulldogs earning the #1 seed and a berth into the semifinals, along with the #2 seed Green City Lady Gophers. Both programs will have byes, and play their first postseason games on Thursday night.
First-round action on Wednesday night will match up #4 seed Linn County against Grundy R-5 (5 PM) and #3 seed Meadville against Tri-County (6:30 PM). The Linn County / Grundy winner will play Gallatin on Thursday night at 5, with the Meadville / Tri-County survivor drawing Green City on Thursday at 6:30 PM.
The Class 1, District 12 championship game will be played on Friday night at 6 o’clock.
