The Carrollton Lady Trojans will play host to a four-school high school volleyball jamboree on Tuesday, August 23rd, welcoming the Trenton Lady Bulldogs, Santa Fe Lady Chiefs, and Marshall Lady Owls to the CHS gymnasium. Action starts at 5 o’clock.
Trenton will play in the first, fourth, and fifth scrimmages of the six scrimmage night, with the Lady Bulldogs battling Carrollton to start the evening. Santa Fe and Marshall will duel in the second game of the night, followed by Carrollton and Santa Fe. Trenton battles Marshall in the fourth game and Santa Fe in the fifth game of the night, with Carrollton and Marshall finishing up.
Fifteen minute warm-ups will be held between matches. Schools will be able to play up to six sets on the evening, with the first team to 15 winning an individual set.
Trenton opens the regular season at home on Monday, August 29th, hosting the Cameron Lady Dragons, with Santa Fe hosting Lawson on the same night to open the campaign. Carrollton’s opener will be a home duel with Santa Fe on Tuesday, August 30th, with Marshall’s opener at home versus Sedalia Sacred Heart on Monday, August 29th.
Another four-school volleyball jamboree will be held at Mid-Buchanan High School in Faucett at 5 o’clock on Tuesday, August 23rd, with South Harrison, Maysville, and North Platte hosted by Mid-Buchanan.
