The wide receiver position at Missouri, looking toward the 2017 season, appears to be an area of strength and depth for the Tigers, but the depth took a hit this week, as sophomore wide receiver Keyon Dilosa has dismissed from the team.
Dilosa, on Wednesday, was arrested by Columbia police on a charge of third-degree domestic assault. The arrest was first reported by 93.9 The Eagle. Gabe DeArmond of Power Mizzou confirmed the news of Dilosa’s dismissal.
The arrest this week was not Dilosa’s first brush with the law. Earlier this season, he was arrested for driving without a license. In his sophomore season, Dilosa played sparingly for the Tigers, only catching two passes. He caught 11 passes in 2015 as a a freshman.
Following his arrest, Dilosa was booked into the Boone County Jail before being released on bond. He is a native of Round Rock, Texas.
