John Bol, a five-star recruit from Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas, has narrowed his choice of future basketball homes to eight schools, including the University of Missouri.
A native of South Sudan, Bol’s connection to Mizzou may come from his time in St. Louis, where he played with CBC (Christian Brothers College High School). He made an official visit to Missouri on September 23rd. Other schools in the running, in addition to Mizzou, are Michigan, defending national champion UConn, Florida, Texas, USC, Wake Forest, and the Overtime Elite League.
Bol is a 7’2″ center that would help in filling Mizzou’s developing depth issue in the frontcourt, although the Tiger program is adding 7-foot center Jordan Butler with this year’s recruiting class.
