The Vanderbilt Commodores, behind 19 points from Scotty Pippen Jr. and double-double efforts from Quentin Millora-Brown and Jordan Wright, used a rally over the final four minutes of regulation to down the Missouri Tigers on Tuesday night, 70-62.
The win, the Commodores third in the last four games, improved to 13-10 overall and 5-6 in the Southeastern Conference, dropping Mizzou to 9-14 overall and 3-7 in SEC play.
With 4:52 remaining in the game, MU took a brief lead on a long-distance three pointer by Kaleb Brown, with the 58-57 advantage the first lead for the Tigers since 22-18 just over 20 minutes prior.
Vanderbilt responded with a 9-0 spurt, taking a 66-58 lead on a Pippen basket with 1:27 remaining in the game. Javon Pickett led the Tigers with 15 points.
Missouri will host Mississippi on Saturday night, with Vanderbilt traveling eastward to Knoxville to take on the 19th ranked Tennessee Volunteers.
