The Kansas City Chiefs, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, had up to 20 people waiting to receive a haircut from a barber that tested positive for the COVID-19 virus on Sunday.
According to Schefter’s reporting, backup center Daniel Kilgore, who, along with wide receiver Demarcus Robinson have missed practice this week due to being deemed ‘close contacts’, was in the chair when the Chiefs pulled the barber once test results were received.
Both Robinson and Kilgore could play in Sunday’s Super Bowl against Tampa Bay, but will need to return negative COVID-19 tests for five consecutive days in order to do so. Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was among the 20 Chiefs waiting haircuts when the incident occurred.
