Former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Damon Arnette has been released by the Kansas City Chiefs, after a recent arrest on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, according to jail records out of Nevada.
Arnette and another man were arrested at 5:45 PM on Friday, January 28th at a Las Vegas Strip hotel-casino, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The Raiders released Arnette, a 2020 first-round pick, in November after a social media video that appeared to show him threatening someone’s life while brandishing multiple guns. Kansas City had signed Arnette to a contract on January 20th.
